How to make contact

Having signed up for one or more online dating services and spent many hours searching through their databases you finally find someone that you like the look of, so what now?

It may seem like a silly question, but unless you have actually experienced it, making that first contact can be a very daunting thing; in fact, there are many people who can sit for hours pondering on whether or not they should send an email to this person.

So it is the first email, what do you put in it?

Here are some points, which may help you get started:

Comment about their profile
See something interesting in their photo
Do not talk about yourself
