What not to do on a blind date

We say blind date, but of course, this could be any type of first date. The idea of a first date is not romance or anything like that, the idea is to get a second date and work it from there. Anyone that goes into a first date full steam ahead is going to find that a second date is a lot harder to get.

Below are some tips that should open up your eyes as to what not to do on that very important first date, but you have to remember that these should be taken as advice and not instructions.

Show some enthusiasm when you first meet your date
Do not bore your date by talking endlessly about yourself
If you’re showing a photo of yourself as a potential prospect, use a relatively recent picture
Do not assume your date thinks you are Brad Pitt
A tiny amount of manners goes a long way
Get a copy of “Failure to Launch”
Understand that beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Women do not want to learn about the past physical encounters of your relationships on a first date
Cheapness can propel a woman toward the nearest exit
Do not bring illegal activities with you on a date in a public place
