Want a great screen name?

Normally the first thing that you see when checking out a new dating site is either the picture of the username. So if your user name is one those names which does not stand out, then it is likely that you may not be getting all of the responses that you could be getting.

But for someone who has a fairly common name, then you are not going to be able to have that, unless there is a load of numbers following it, which just looks like you cannot be bothered. Also you should be aware of creating a user name that is explicit, these can give the wrong impression and for someone who is looking for a long term serious relationship, then that won’t do at all.

One final thing to remember is “A” is better than “Z” as a starting letter, sometimes a site may offer the results in alphabetical order, an “A” will allow you to be near the top of the results page and therefore a much better chance of being chosen.
